Ut-In Selica Lodge #58
Order of the Arrow

Dear Scout Leaders:

We are pleased to present you with a copy of our "Where To Go Camping" book.

One of the Order of the Arrow's purposes is to promote Scout camping and in pursuit of that goal we have compiled this booklet. It is not intended as an exhaustible compendium of camps in Northern and Central California nor as an infallible source of information. Rather we hope it will introduce you to a cross section of camping experiences extending from the Pacific shores to across the High Sierras.

Once again we include in this book information about the Fages (Faa-his) Trail. Ut-In Sélica Lodge has taken preliminary steps to establish this 10 plus miles of trail through Wildcat and Tilden Parks as a national historic trail.

This publication replaces our 1986 "Outing Guide" which required revision and is out of print. This edition takes advantage of current technology, which should greatly facilitate future updates.

We want our "Where To Go Camping" booklet to contain information you find helpful and we solicit your assistance to insure it does. At the end of the booklet is a page entitled "OA Campsite Form" Make as many copies as you need of this form and use it to correct and enhance our information on the campsites listed or to compile data on additional campsites you would like included in the next edition. Send completed forms and other suggestions for improvement to:
